There are now two parking areas at Hawke's Bay Airport:
The P120/short stay car park is accessed by the entry in front of the terminal.
The main/all-day carpark is accessed by the roundabout entry and is for any parking over 2 hours including long-term car parking.
The pick-up/drop off area is inside the P120 Car park.
* Please note: car parks cannot currently be booked in advance.
Payment machines are located outside on the footpath next to the P120 car park. We offer different options for payment convenience:
Take a ticket on entry and pay at a paystation, then use the ticket to exit.
Take a ticket on entry and pay at the exit using PayWave - go straight to the exit barrier, insert your ticket and tap your card on the PayWave reader.
You can use PayWave upon entry and exit.
Receipts for PayWave payments at exit - please email email@example.com
Credit card surcharge of 2.5% to payments made using Visa and Mastercard, which is in line with our Cost of Acceptance.
The penalty for a Lost Ticket is $100 and evidence of your arrival and departure at the airport (i.e. flight details) will be required for validation purposes.
Exiting the car parks without payment is an offence. The Airport Company may choose to prosecute the registered owner of the vehicle for a breach of bylaw 25 which under section 9(8) Airport Authorities Act 1966 carries a maximum penalty of $500.
No motor vehicles or motorbikes are permitted on grass, private lanes, staff car parks or any other areas that are not designated for public parking. Thank you in advance for using our designated public car parks.
Infringement notices will be issued for parking other than in the designated car parks and offending vehicles may be towed away at the vehicle owner's cost.
Our car parks are designed for standard-sized cars and small vans. A limited number of larger vehicles can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
Copies of our terms and conditions are signposted at the entry to each Car Park. You can also read a copy via the following link.
