The entry to and from Hawke's Bay Airport is located off the roundabout at the intersection of State Highway 2 and Watchman Road, Napier.
Hawke's Bay Airport is located approximately 10 minutes from Napier CBD and 20 minutes from Hastings CBD.
The internal road system at the airport makes getting around easy. Simply follow the signs to the area that best suits your needs. These areas include:
- Pick up / Drop Off: Fast and efficient areas within close proximity of the terminal
- P120 Car Park: The closest public parking to the terminal for up to 2 hours
- Main Car Park: Short and long stay parking
- Wait Zone: Located off the internal roundabout, the wait zone can be used prior to driving through to collect passengers
A designated Pick Up and Drop Off area is located within close proximity of the terminal. This area shares the same space as the P120 Car Park and is controlled by an entry barrier. To enter the area pull a ticket at the barrier and drive into the pick up & drop off zones. If you stay for less than 15 minutes you can use the same ticket at the exit barrier to exit for free. If you stay longer than 15 minutes, parking charges will apply.
Cycling to the airport is a fantastic option for some travellers. The Willis Legal Bikeport, situated within the Main Car Park is a purpose-built shipping container with secure parking and charging for bikes.
The forecourt area located between the P120 and the terminal is an architecturally designed area that allows pedestrians and vehicles to share the space. Only approved vehicles, such as taxis and shuttles are authorised to use the lane and must give way to pedestrians at all times.
