Alert Level Two Update to Passengers

On Monday 11th May Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that the New Zealand would progressively move into Covid-19 Alert Level 2 from Thursday 14th May. This means that people can resume their domestic travel plans and Air New Zealand has responded by restoring some additional capacity to both their Napier-Auckland and Napier-Wellington routes.

Under Alert Level 2 those travelling must do so safely which includes adhering to physical distancing and public health guidelines.

People are reminded that Hawke’s Bay Airport is amid the redevelopment of its terminal and during the current stage of construction the area inside the terminal is significantly reduced. To ensure physical distancing guidelines can be met the airport will be extending its policy to only permit travelling passengers to enter the terminal building.

We thank you for your continued support.
